Master study programmes:
The Bachelor study programmes are open to all students, who have passed their secondary (high) school (by passing the graduation exam). The high school diploma must be validated by the Czech authority.
The Master study programmes are open to all students, who have passed their Bachelor degree. All foreigners have to submit a Bachelor degree diploma validated by the Czech authority (via the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports). It has to be completed up to at least the date of study registration.
The study programmes are biennial and students graduate after diploma/bachelor thesis defence and state examination.
Study fees
Studies in any foreign language (non-Czech or non-Slovak) have to be paid according to the instructions of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Each university decides the amount of the fees according to its own prescription. ERASMUS students do not pay any fees. Czech and Slovak students have to pay €30 per (academic) year. This fee covers also, other foreign students with permanent residence in the Czech Republic, and students studying in the Czech Republic according to international agreements by means of the Centre for International Services of Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
All other foreign students have to pay study fees; applicants enrolling as degree students in BSc and MSc programmes are expected to pay an administration study fee of 30 EUR per academic year 2013-2014 (according to the dean decision).

The study programmes are biennial and students graduate after diploma/bachelor thesis defence and state examination.
Visa Regulations for incoming students
Students from the EU do not need a visa. All students (also from EU) must register with the foreign police in Prague after their enrolment at CULS.
If you need a visa to get to the Czech Republic this is how you should proceed:
When you receive the Letter of Acceptance and a Confirmation of Accommodation (both will be send after passing the entrance examination) apply for a student visa at the Czech Embassy or Czech Consulate in your country of origin. You will get visa application forms (in five main European languages) that are to be filled out with the help of the embassy personnel.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
There is no chance to get a visa ad hoc, after your arrival in the Czech Republic!
Foreign students who need a visa and have not made the necessary arrangements before coming to the Czech Republic will not be registered at CULS.
