French PhD scholarships 

Call for application 2020

Dear Rector, Dear Vice-Rector,

Dear Dean, Dear Vice-Dean,

Dear Professors, Dear Officers,

I am pleased to inform you that the call for French Government scholarships applications is now open. These grants are to be awarded in 2020 by the French Embassy in the Czech Republic.

These scholarships are intended for PhD students of Czech universities who wish to achieve, in any field of studies, either:

• a co-supervised PhD thesis (“cotutelle“) with a French university
• a short stay for a period of one to three months in a French research laboratory

EXTENSION OF THE MOBILITY PROGRAM IN 2020

This year, the call should be open both ways, for French students coming to the Czech Republic as well. This information will be officially confirmed and shared with you in December.

The deadline for application is not set yet, but the call should close mid-February and the selection boards will be held in March 2020, for both mobilities to France and to the Czech Republic.

We would be grateful if you could inform the students and colleagues of your faculty about this program.
