At the beginning of September, a working meeting of the EUROBOAR Research Initiative was held at the FLD. Nearly 50 scientists from Europe and the United States discussed the most serious problems with wild boar. The EUROBOAR initiative was established 3 years ago and aims to bring together scientists dealing with wildlife behavior. The platform brings together 27 European institutions that share each other with movement data (from GPS telemetry) and contribute to the creation of joint scientific outputs. The initiative is conceived as a voluntary association, regardless of any financial means.
