In 2007–2013, the Czech University of Life Sciences had almost been denied the chance to gain European grants from Czech operational programmes, due to having its seat in the city of Prague.Despite the fact, FFWS succeeded in receiving more than CZK 200 million from the Research and Development for Innovations Operational Programme to build a new Pavilion of Wood Sciences. For more information on this project, see Operational Programmes Projects link below.
The new programming period of 2014–2020 (its start being delayed by two years, in fact) already invites Prague universities to participate in operational programmes as well, and that is the moment FFWS applied for several projects, especially from the Research, Development and Education OP. Up to now, we have submitted six Faculty projects. All of them are going through the process of evaluation right now.
