On 17th May, our Faculty participated in the co-organization of a Bioeconomy conference in light of the results of the COP26 Glasgow 2021 climate conference; this took place in person in the Graduation Hall of the Czech University of Life Sciences, but participants could also join online. The conference was organized in cooperation with the Platform for the Bioeconomy of the Czech Republic and the Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Topics discussed focused on the issue of climate change and related themes, presented by prominent Czech experts, such as Prof. Bedřich Moldan, Dr. Miloš Kužvart, and Dr. Martin Bursík
