From 2–6 October, the Czech Republic hosted the World Road Congress at the Congress Centre in Prague. The theme of the congress was „Prague 2023 – together on the road again“. The Congress was attended by approximately 4,000 delegates, mostly from abroad, and the latest trends and technologies in the road transport sector were presented. The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, together with the Faculty of Technology, had a stand in the education, science, and research section. Secondary school students from all over the Czech Republic visited our stand; they came to see a global overview of current procedures and future trends in the field of road infrastructure and road mobility. An excursion focused on forest paths in CZU Forests was also organized for the Congress participants.
