Secondary schools are an important partner for FLD. It is whilst at secondary school that most young people decide what direction their future professional career will take, and it is therefore the time to choose a university and a field of study.
Our aim is to introduce studies at our Faculty to secondary school students through open days and various lecture events, but also to support talented students in an independent and creative approach to dealing with professional issues and to motivate them to pursue university studies. We achieve this goal through various events that the Faculty organizes or is involved in organizing.
Open Days
ČZU regularly organises Open Days of all faculties every year. Future students, as well as the general public, can also visit the area of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, get information about studies, see examples of specific study programmes, compete or listen to the tones of hunting music.
Professional lectures and tours of the FLD
