On 21 November, our faculty held an Open Day, which attracted a large number of prospective students. The weather was very pleasant, and the faculty campus soon filled with secondary school students, parents, and other visitors who came to learn about the study opportunities our faculty offers.
Visitors enjoyed a diverse programme during which they could get a detailed introduction to the individual departments and their areas of focus. Teachers and students were happy to answer questions about studies, research, and professional practice. Interested visitors could even try out a harvester simulator or “take a shot” at the digital laser shooting range. The woodworking workshop demonstration also drew great interest.
The programme included lectures about studying at FLD, where applicants learned more about the various study programmes, student life, and the associated benefits. Current students also shared their experiences, offering insight into the faculty’s atmosphere from the perspective of those who have already completed their first semesters.
We thank all visitors for coming and look forward to seeing them again—next time as our students.
