The Leiden Ranking has been released, which compares universities based on publications indexed in the Web of Science database. The results show the scientific performance of the institution. ČZU has 8.7% of publications in the top 10% of journals. In the Czech Republic, it ranked 2nd behind the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice.
According to the share of scientific publications in the first decile of the best journals, ČZU is the second best in the Czech Republic. Our faculty has made a significant contribution to this achievement! In the 2019-2022 evaluation period, FLD had 16% of publications in the first decile. Last year, it was even 22%. We are proud of our successes and continue on the path to top science!
