We invite you for lecture on forest therapy by Dr. Qing Li. Lecture will take place on 16 April 2026 form 9.30 to 13.30 and will be divided into theoretical part in room L125 at FLD and practical part in close forests.
About lecturer:
Prof. Li is the world’s foremost expert in forest medicine and immunology, awarded by several significant awards.
He graduated from Shanxi Medical University in China and got PhD degree from Kagoshima University in Japan. During 2001–2002 he studied at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Li studies forest medicine to find out all the ways in which walking in the forest can improve our well-being. From 2004 he studies forest therapy (Shinrin-yoku) and has published many articles in scientific journals and succesful books in forest medicine. His book: Shinrin-yoku (https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/308285/shinrin-yoku/9780241984857.html) has been translated into 26 languages.
