The event offered a unique opportunity for experts in forestry, game management, and wood science to meet, and once again confirmed its importance as a platform for connecting the academic sphere with practice. We recorded the highest number of participants in the event’s history, a total of 98 (87 in person and 11 online). Throughout the day, we presented opportunities for cooperation with the Faculty, applied research results usable in practice, and current topics in forestry, wood science, and game management. The programme also included practical demonstrations and all-day refreshments for registered participants. We would like to thank all event partners – especially Forests of the Czech Republic, MATRIX a.s., and the project Support for Green Skills and Sustainability at CZU – for their support, without which the event could not have taken place on such a scale. We believe that Forestry Day brought inspiration, new contacts, and impetus for further cooperation. We look forward to seeing you at the fifth Forestry Day in 2026!
