On 22–25 May, the FLD CZU took part in Natura Viva in Lysá nad Labem, the largest exhibition focused on hunting, fishing, and life in nature, officially opened by the Minister of Agriculture. Our wooden stand, featuring a small forest, attracted attention from afar and offered visitors a glimpse into the world of modern hunting – from sustainable landscape management and contemporary approaches to wildlife and forest management, to education in hunting and the integration of tradition with technology. Visitors could view specimen displays, learn about forest wildlife, explore educational materials, and engage with students and teachers about study and career opportunities in the field. The educational materials for primary schools, presented by Member of Parliament Nina Nováková, also drew interest. These resource materials were developed through collaboration between CZU Forests, FLD CZU, Pečky Primary School, the Institute of Professional Development, and the Norwegian partner, The Forestry Extension Institute, combining education, nature, and an international perspective. We thank everyone who visited us and look forward to future encounters that celebrate tradition and responsible landscape management.
