For this year’s edition of the student competition Buildings with the Scent of Wood 2025, 50 entries from 54 students from Czech and Slovak universities were submitted. The expert jury therefore faced no easy task in selecting the winners – the quality, inventiveness, and diversity of the student designs were outstanding. Although not all entries made it to the list of awardees, heartfelt thanks go to all participants for the time, energy, and creativity they invested in their projects. Each design offered a unique perspective on working with wood – from traditional forms to bold, contemporary interpretations. It is precisely this diversity that gives the competition its true value.
The award ceremony for the competition winners took place on 12 November 2025 as part of the WOOD CAMP Live professional conference.
