The laboratory of long-term testing focuses on long-term testing of the rheological properties (creep) of solid wood and wood-based materials. Its main equipment includes a system of creep testing units for long-term bending loads on wood (Patent No. 306990). The system consists of three main components: creep testing units, comprising a clamping and loading system; deformation sensors; and a data recording system. The system connects not only dial gauges but also balances to the PC, enabling experiments under variable climatic conditions. During testing, both the deformation of the loaded test specimens and the mass of control (parallel) specimens are recorded. This makes it possible to monitor and subsequently evaluate the contribution and synergistic effects of mechanical and moisture loading.
