The Lab-microtome is designed to cut micro sections of all kind of wooden specimen. It has a two-way adjustable knife and specimen holder, two guide rails ensuring precise knife guidance, and semi-automatic specimen lift to achieve a constant specimen thickness, a double guided sledge for a precise guidance of the knife, and semi-automated uplift of the sample for constant thickness of the samples during the cutting procedure.
