The pressure impregnation chamber serves for the impregnation of wood or wood-based materials with protective agents for the purpose of protecting wood from pests or resins for the purpose of wood modification. Pressure can be developed in this chamber using both air and liquid, which makes it possible to impregnate small test specimens as well as larger prototypes.
