The list of partner universities to choose from can be found here.
Requirements for proof of language proficiency (e.g. B2 level) vary depending on the host university. Students are responsible for verifying whether the target institution requires a language certificate and for arranging its submission if required.
One way to meet the language requirement is by completing the course LXL1AE – English for Outgoing Students (B2), after which students receive a certificate.
After submitting the application, students will be invited to an interview by e-mail.
Students may apply until 15 February 2026 via UIS – Student ‘s portal – Submit exchange programme application.
If more than one student applies to the same university, priority is given to the student with better academic results and stronger motivation for studying abroad.
Selected students will be nominated by the International Relations Department of the Rectorate.
Ing. Radka Kalousová will nominate the students to the foreign universities and send them an email with further instructions. The student must then complete all the necessary documents according to the instructions and send them to the host university. Once the host university confirms acceptance, Ing. Kalousová will sign a Financial Agreement with the student and assist with the rest of the administrative steps (Student Declaration, language test, insurance, participation agreement, Learning Agreement After Mobility, Table D, etc.).
At the start of the exchange, it is often necessary to make changes to the original study plan in the Online Learning Agreement. This may be due to changes in course offerings or schedule conflicts. Such changes are recorded in the section During Mobility – Changes.
After completing the study abroad period, you must submit all required documents to the responsible person at the International Relations Department of the Rectorate within 10 days of your return.
Course recognition is processed at FLD based on the submission of the Transcript of Records.
