Wildlife Conservation and Management in Europe

Join a Blended Intensive Programme focused on wildlife conservation and management in Europe. You can look forward to field excursions in national parks, collaboration with experts, hands-on data collection, and teamwork on preparing a species or habitat management plan.

The on-site part takes place in Poland – in national or regional parks and areas with active conservation projects.

The programme combines an online and an on-site component:
Online part Introduction to nature conservation in Europe, EU legal frameworks, invasive alien species, ethical aspects of working with animals, and preparation for fieldwork. Students work in groups and share experiences from their home countries.
On-site part Field excursions focused on amphibians, reptiles and birds; conservation of endangered mammals (e.g. European bison, bats, otter); management of conflict species (wolf, beaver, cormorant); and practical data collection (transects, camera traps, GIS).

Participants receive an Erasmus+ grant – more information: Czech University of Life Sciences Prague - Blended Intensive Programme
