The main objective of the project is to develop a strategy to support biodiversity in beech forests and increase their resilience to climate change. The second objective of the project is to create 100 hectares of restored forest areas where appropriate forest management practices will be implemented to help maintain or increase biodiversity. Another important objective of the project is to foster dialogue among forest owners, forestry experts, scientists, conservationists, and the public through panel discussions and field trips to forest stands on both sides of the border.
