The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology of the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague has received support for the international project called TEACHER-CE, co-financed by the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE program.

The main goal of the project is to develop an integrated set of tools that will focus on the management of climate-resistant water resources. In addition, the project will focus on helping to prevent floods, heavy rains and droughts through water retention and water protection measures through sustainable land use management.

FLD will be represented in the international consortium by employees of the Department of Forest Genetics and Physiology.

On this project, FLD will work as a project partner together with 12 other different institutions from Europe. The University of Ljubljana will act as coordinator here.
