The aim of the project is to fulfill one of the research needs of the Ministry of Agriculture. Based on the analysis of current knowledge, the types of territorial nature protection and the related constraints for forest owners will be differentiated. The impacts on forest owners will be quantified in volume and financial terms, and the impacts on the wood-processing sector in Czechia will be evaluated. On the basis of the analyses and the findings, a proposal for legislative and conceptual measures will be developed. Another objective is to create scenarios of possible development of territorial nature protection in Czechia in the context of the legal framework of the Czech Republic and the EU and to assess the impacts of these scenarios on forest owners and the wood-processing sector.
