Geographically non-native tree species represent possible potential, but also high risks for forestry. The economic potential and interest of some forestry ecosystems is already known for selected tree species (Chestnut, Black walnut, Turkish hazel, American sycamore, Shagbark hickory). However, it is necessary to find out the limits of their use, to find out the risks of the habitat, i.e. define habitats (sets of forest types) that correspond to the ecological requirements of individual species. To find out the spectrum of pathogens that threaten woody plants and the potential risk of their introduction. To determine the optimal tree species composition, where the risk of the occurrence of diseases and pathogens would be as low as possible and, and high economic yield for the owner.
