The proposed project addresses both a technical and market-related problem associated with the lack of equipment for the large-scale production of tablets containing hydrophilic polymers and other additives, which are the intellectual property of the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU). These tablets would enable the planting of vegetation in areas with adverse climatic or soil conditions. At present, there is no technology that would allow these tablets to be produced in large quantities, despite high demand for them, particularly among forest landowners and organizations involved in land reclamation. The aim of the project is to develop a functional sample, a prototype, and to patent equipment that would enable the serial production of tablets made from organic residues, hydrophilic polymers, and supplemented with mycorrhizal symbionts or beneficial bacteria, such as Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). This would meet demand amounting to thousands of units per month. At the same time, the project will contribute to combating soil degradation and reducing losses during afforestation caused by drought.
