Management planning is an essential element to ensure all ecosystem services and to promote sustainable management of forests using close-to-nature management systems. That is why the aim of the project is to create innovative methodological approaches for developing of forest management plans based on multicriteria, optimization and participatory approaches. The sub- objectives of the project are: (i) development of innovative management planning approaches to provide ecosystem services; (ii) optimization and determination of elements of forest management for forest stands in conversion to close-to-nature management, taking into account the constraints related to climate change adaptation measures.
