To analyse adaptation measures, assess their relevance in selected habitats. To test an optimal solution for regeneration of calamity clear-cut. To propose site- specific measures increasing water retention in forests and adopting logging and transport technologies minimizing impact on the soil. To implement knowledge on the influence of management on humification and carbon balance in soils in forest planning. To verify the hypothesis that adaptation measures are economically sustainable in the long run, or to propose a modification. To analyse these measures from the point of view of legislative conflicts, to propose eventual changes.
