On 25 April, the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague hosted the regional round of the international competition YPEF (Young People in European Forests). The event brought together pupils from primary and secondary schools who demonstrated their knowledge and skills in forestry, ecology, and nature conservation. The atmosphere was excellent, and the participants left with not only valuable experience but also new insights and inspiration. Organisers praised the high level of knowledge shown by the contestants as well as their keen interest in European forests. The winners of the younger category were the team from the Gymnázium prof. J. Patočky – Marianna Simkaničová, Anežka Ingrová, and Julia Drlík; the older category was won by the team from Gymnázium Botičská – Jakub Jílek, František Macura, and Dalibor Libus. Congratulations!
