Not only the students of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences once again enjoyed the traditional FLD Student Ball this year, which took place on February 19 in the beautiful setting of the castle in Kostelec nad Černými lesy. After several years, the ball returned to its original venue, welcoming more than two hundred guests.
An essential part of the evening was the initiation ceremony for first-year students, who received their unique initiation certificate and the traditional tap with a hunting dagger engraved with the FLD logo. For many of them, this solemn moment marked their first major event in student life.
The participants enjoyed not only great music but also plenty of entertainment, competitions, and impressive dance performances. A rich raffle was also part of the evening, bringing joy to many lucky winners.
The entire event took place in a friendly and festive atmosphere, enjoyed by students, faculty staff, and other guests alike. The ball was organized by the FLD Student Interest Association in cooperation with the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, ensuring excellent organization and a pleasant course of the event.
