This year, the annual Wood Science Day was held at FLD on 21 September. Every year this event is more successful and is attracting more and more supporters, not only among the Faculty but also among external partners from practice. This year, a total of 62 representatives of companies participated in the Wood Science Day, including companies such as KRONOSPAN CR and MATRIX, but also research and educational institutions, such as Ostrava Technical University and Pulp and Paper Research Institute, Bratislava. Employees of the Department of Wood Processing and Biomaterials presented their research to company representatives, but doctoral students were also given space for poster presentations of the results of their work.
