We are looking for motivated candidates interested in the following topics:

· Forest biodiversity (birds, beetles, fungi, plants, lichens) in relation to forest structure and management.

· Effect of different management strategies on biodiversity and resilience of European temperate forests.

· Natural disturbances and their effects on forest ecosystems.

· Carbon sequestration in relation to forest structure and management.

· Drought effects on carbon–water trade-offs in European forests.

· Tree layer dynamics in relation to forest structure and management.

· Magnetic Fields and Algae Biotechnology

· Leveraging Hyperspectral Phenotyping and Genomics for Predicting Adaptive Traits in Forest Tree Species Across Diverse Environmental Conditions

· Exploring the Genetic Basis of Physiological Stress Responses in Forest Trees Using Spectral and Geometric Data

· Electro/Magnetic Field Effects on Green Microscopic Algae: Biotechnological
