Cone calorimeter (ISO 5660-1)

This device is used to measure the rate of released heat (according to ISO 5660-1) under an adjustable thermal radiation load. Simultaneously, the weight of the tested material sample is recorded. The development of heat is evaluated from the loss of oxygen in the combustion products. The device has a built-in photometer for measuring the optical density of smoke in dynamic mode. It includes a computer with special software for managing and evaluating tests.
