The CZU project supports the return of researchers and doctoral students following parental leave, long-term illness, or caregiving for a loved one through return grants. The goal is to mitigate the effects of career breaks, promote gender equality, and strengthen reintegration into research. Return grants fund research activities, a support team, a mentor, training for the principal investigator, a stipend for a child or family member, and mobility grants. The project will pilot the implementation of the return grant scheme.
