The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences took part in the 28th year of Natura Viva – the international exhibition of hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and being outdoors – which took place on 25-28th May at Lysá nad Labem exhibition grounds. The stand mainly presented the study programmes of Game Management and Wildlife Conservation and Conservation of Natural Objects and Taxidermy. Children could try out a touchscreen game, where they recognized mammals, birds, insects, and animal tracks. Demonstrations of a deer heart plastination, 3D printing of a badger skull, a telemetry collar, a drone, samples of red deer jaws, and much more were prepared for other visitors.
