The Platform for the Bioeconomy of the Czech Republic organized a conference on 21 November 2023, in cooperation with CZU and with the financial support of the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences, entitled Climate, water, soil – selected pillars of the bioeconomy. The conference took place in the CZU Assembly Hall, but participants could also join online. In the opening block, the speakers were CZU Vice-rector, Prof. Marek Turčáni, the Chairman of the Platform for Bioeconomy of the Czech Republic, Associate Professor Miroslav Hájek, the head of the BOKU Bioeconomy Centre in Vienna Dr. Martin Greimel, a representative of Warsaw University of Life Sciences Professor Nina Drejerska, and the representative of the University of Agriculture in Nitra Dr. Danka Moravčíková. Subsequently, there were three specialist blocks dedicated to climate, water, and healthy soil.
