Our Faculty, in cooperation with the US Embassy in Prague, organized the From Seed to Perfection exhibition for the general public, which was open to the public for free in May and June of this year at the American Center of the US Embassy in Prague. The exhibition presented the activities of our Faculty in large-format photographs and objects related to forestry and the use of wood. Step by step, exhibition visitors found out about the path of wood from a seed, through forest cultivation using modern technologies and current scientific knowledge, to the extraction and use of wood for carbon-neutral products and buildings of the future. The exhibition was a parallel to the American Framing project, exhibited in the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery in Prague, where it was transferred from the Biennale of Architecture in Venice. The exhibition opening took place on Wednesday 18th May, with the participation of the professional and lay public, including representatives of the political spectrum. The exhibition was officially opened by Natalie Wilkins, Cultural Attaché of the US Embassy in Prague, and Róbert Marušák, Dean of our Faculty, who presented the exhibition‘s goals.
