On 20-22nd June 2023, the international meeting of the UNECE/FAO Forest Communicators‘ Network was held at the Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences in Prague (FLD). This is a team of specialists who work with the public in the forestry sector. The workshop was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture and with the cooperation of ÚHÚL and FLD. In addition to the presentation of specific activities in individual countries, including the Czech Republic, part of the workshop was devoted to practical training. As part of it, the participants tried, for example, to record a podcast, try virtual reality, and even practically involve artificial intelligence for the design of a communication campaign for the International Day of Forests in 2024, whose theme will be „Forests and Innovation“. Lesy hlavního města Prahy company prepared an excursion for the participants to Stromovka Royal Game Reserve.
