Our Faculty hosted an international conference on „Current Trends and Challenges for Forest-Based Sector: Carbon Neutrality and Bioeconomy“. This was already the 16th year of the conference, prepared in cooperation with the WoodEMA international association (more about the conference at https://www.woodema.org). At the FLD premises, the conference took place for the second time, this year on 13-16th June. Thanks for the successful conference go not only to the participants from nine countries, but also to the organizers from the Department of Forestry and Wood Economics, employees of the Faculty Marketing Department, representatives of the Forest Bioeconomy Team, and other FLD colleagues who participated in the event. The conference also included a visit to the operations of Mondi Štětí company. Special thanks go to the employees of the Wood & Paper company (Ing. Tomáš Pařík and Marek Dítě) for their help in organizing the excursion.
