The main goal of the international CLIMB-FOREST project is to identify sustainable pathways and management alternatives for European forestry that mitigate climate change, sustain and enhance biodiversity and other vital ecosystem services, and provide renewable materials for a sustainable bioeconomy. Its long-term impact is aimed at changing attitudes in the EU policy-making process and influencing foresters to adopt new forest management strategies.
FFWS CZU is a co-researcher of this project. The whole consortium includes 18 institutions from different European countries.
