In November 2025, a professional seminar titled “Recreational Function of Forests – Past, Present and Future” was held at the Tři Trubky Hunting Lodge. The event, which was held as part of the LIFE Adapt Brdy project, focused on sharing experiences and examples of good practice in supporting the recreational function of forests and its development in the context of current forest management.
During the morning session, presentations focused on close-to-nature management, the significance and development of the recreational function of forests, financing options, and legal aspects related to their use. Contributions were delivered by representatives of Vojenské lesy a statky ČR, s. p. (Military Forests and Estates of the Czech Republic, state enterprise), Hradec Králové Municipal Forests, Inc., Domažlice Municipal Forests, Ltd., the Forestry and Game management Research Institute, RI, the Czech Tourist Club, and attorney JUDr. Ing.
